Greenwave Technology Solutions (NASDAQ:GWAV) (NASDAQ: GWAV) is a metal recycling company that collects, processes and sells ferrous and nonferrous scrap metal. Its operations include the purchase of discarded materials from individuals, contractors, manufacturers and other commercial sources, followed by sorting, processing and preparation for resale to steel mills, foundries and other industrial customers.

The company operates scrap-metal recycling facilities in the Mid-Atlantic region, including locations in Virginia and North Carolina. Its facilities are designed to serve local suppliers and commercial customers while recovering usable metal from end-of-life vehicles, appliances, industrial equipment, construction materials and other discarded products.

Greenwave was previously known as MassRoots, Inc. and adopted its current name as it transitioned its business toward metal recycling. Danny Meeks has served as the company's chief executive officer and has been associated with its development and expansion in the recycling industry.
