Trump’s secret China deal
Trump just returned from Beijing with the most powerful business delegation in American history - Elon Musk, Jensen Huang, Tim Cook, and the CEOs of BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and CitiBank. The media covered the handshakes. But what was really being negotiated behind closed doors? Porter Stansberry has connected the Beijing trip to a landmark pact signed by 13 nations in Washington - a pact designed to cut China out of a $3 trillion investment wave tied to the most critical resource of the 21st century. About Grab

Grab (NASDAQ:GRAB) Holdings Inc. is a Singapore-based technology company that operates a consumer-facing "super app" across Southeast Asia offering services spanning ride-hailing, food and package delivery, and digital payments. Its platform connects consumers, drivers, merchants and delivery partners through mobile applications and supports on-demand mobility (taxi and private car), last-mile logistics, and on-demand food delivery under brands such as GrabFood and GrabExpress. The company has also developed a merchant-facing ecosystem that supports ordering, payment acceptance and loyalty functions.

Beyond transportation and delivery, Grab has expanded into financial services through Grab Financial Group, which provides digital payments via GrabPay, consumer lending, insurance distribution and small-business financial solutions. These fintech offerings are positioned to leverage the company’s large user base and transaction flows to provide embedded financial products to consumers and merchants. Grab additionally operates a rewards program and various merchant tools intended to drive engagement and monetization across its platform.

Founded in 2012 by Anthony Tan and Tan Hooi Ling, the company began as a taxi-booking service and grew rapidly across Southeast Asia, building operations in markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Grab is headquartered in Singapore and completed a public listing in 2021 following a merger with a special purpose acquisition company. Anthony Tan remains a prominent leader of the business as its co-founder and chief executive, and the company has emphasized a strategy of regional expansion and platform diversification to integrate mobility, delivery and financial services for consumers and merchants across Southeast Asia.
