About Atlanta Braves

Atlanta Braves (NASDAQ:BATRA) owns and operates the Atlanta Braves, a Major League Baseball franchise based in Atlanta, Georgia. The Braves compete in MLB’s National League East and generate revenue through ticket sales, premium seating, sponsorships, broadcasting and digital rights, licensing, merchandise, concessions, and other team-related activities.

The company also owns and operates Truist Park, the Braves’ home stadium, and The Battery Atlanta, a mixed-use development surrounding the ballpark. The Battery Atlanta includes restaurants, retail stores, office space, residential properties, entertainment venues, and hotels, providing the company with business activities beyond professional baseball.

The franchise traces its history to 1871 and is one of the oldest continuously operating professional sports franchises in the United States. It played in Boston and Milwaukee before relocating to Atlanta in 1966. Atlanta Braves Holdings was formed through the 2023 split-off of the Braves and associated real estate assets from Liberty Media. The organization is led by Chairman Terry McGuirk and President and CEO Derek Schiller.
