About Core Natural Resources

Core Natural Resources (NYSE:CNR) (NYSE:CNR) is a U.S.-based coal producer formed through the combination of CONSOL Energy Inc. and Arch Resources, Inc., completed in 2025. The company supplies coal used in steelmaking and electricity generation.

Core Natural Resources produces metallurgical coal, which is used in the manufacture of steel, and thermal coal, which is used primarily for power generation. Its operations include mining complexes in the Appalachian region and the Powder River Basin, giving the company exposure to multiple U.S. coal-producing areas.

The company serves domestic and international customers and supports coal exports through transportation and terminal infrastructure. Core Natural Resources is led by Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Brock, who previously served as chief executive of CONSOL Energy.
