Why major institutions are piling into this digital asset now
BlackRock, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, and Fidelity are reportedly accumulating a scarce blockchain asset - one that gets burned with every transaction on what analysts are calling America's new financial grid. The Nasdaq has received SEC approval to move stocks onto blockchain rails, and BlackRock CEO Larry Fink dedicated his entire 2026 annual letter to this infrastructure shift. Blockchain analyst Andy Howard is calling this asset 'Digital Oil' - and says institutional buyers are already positioned.tc pixel

About Dave & Buster's Entertainment

Dave & Buster’s Entertainment, Inc. operates a chain of combined restaurant and entertainment venues designed to appeal to families, young adults and corporate groups. Each location features a full-service restaurant and bar alongside an arcade gaming area with ticket-based redemption, virtual reality experiences and skill-based games. Many venues also include multiple large-screen televisions and a sports bar atmosphere, catering to fans who wish to watch live sporting events in a social setting.

The company was founded in 1982 by David Corriveau and James “Buster” Corley, opening its first location in Dallas, Texas. Over the decades, Dave & Buster’s has expanded coast to coast within the United States and into Canada, bringing its entertainment concept to suburban shopping centers and urban high-traffic districts. In mid‐2014, the company completed an initial public offering and its shares began trading on the NASDAQ under the ticker PLAY.

Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Dave & Buster’s maintains a leadership team focused on growth through new openings, technology enhancements and elevated food and beverage offerings. In July 2022, industry veteran Kevin Sheehan was named Chief Executive Officer, succeeding the prior management team with a mandate to optimize location-level performance and accelerate digital engagement, including mobile ordering and online game reservations.

Dave & Buster’s continues to refine its “Eat, Drink, Play” model, introducing proprietary attraction concepts and limited-time promotions to drive repeat visitation. With a diverse revenue mix—spanning food and beverage sales, game play, private event hosting and branded merchandise—the company seeks to capture both casual diners and dedicated gaming enthusiasts across its growing portfolio of venues.
