The company traces its origins to Japan in the late 1940s and expanded internationally as demand grew for electronic components. In 2019, following its integration with Alpine Electronics, Alps Electric adopted the name Alps Alpine Co., Ltd. It serves customers through operations and sales networks in Japan and other major markets across Asia, Europe, and North America.
