In addition, it holds 100% interest in the Tully Property that consists of various blocks located in Tully Township; and the Gowest Whitney Property, which consists of nine patented claims covering an area of approximately 144 hectares located in Timmins, Ontario. The company was formerly known as Gowest Amalgamated Resources Ltd. and changed its name to Gowest Gold Ltd. in March 2011. Gowest Gold Ltd. is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
