Its other businesses include Compass, which operates in the natural gas distribution and energy infrastructure sector; Moove, a manufacturer and distributor of lubricants; and Rumo, a logistics company that operates railway infrastructure and provides transportation and logistics services, primarily in Brazil.

Cosan also has interests related to agricultural land and investment activities. The company is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, and its shares trade on the B3 in Brazil and, through American depositary shares, on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol CSAN.
