The Company's investment objective is to provide a secure, convenient, low-cost, exchange tradable investment alternative for investors interested in holding an investment in gold and silver bullion for long-term appreciation. Part of Central Fund's net assets consist of long-term holdings of gold and silver bullion in bar form. At least 90% of Central Fund's net assets shall consist of gold and silver bullion in bar and certificate form. A nominal portion of Central Fund's net assets may be invested in marketable securities related to the gold and silver markets and industries.
