The Finniss project includes the Grants and BP33 lithium deposits, among other exploration prospects. Core Lithium’s primary product is spodumene lithium concentrate, which is used as a feedstock in the production of lithium chemicals for rechargeable batteries, including those used in electric vehicles and energy-storage systems.

Core Lithium began producing lithium concentrate from the Finniss project in late 2022 and made its first shipment in early 2023. The company has since reviewed its mining and development activities in response to operating conditions and changes in the lithium market, while continuing to assess the future development potential of its Northern Territory assets.
