Airbus SE is a global aerospace company that designs, develops and manufactures commercial aircraft, helicopters, military aircraft, spacecraft and related systems. Its commercial aircraft business includes the A220 and A320 families of single-aisle jets, as well as the A330 and A350 wide-body aircraft. The company also provides aircraft services, including maintenance, training, upgrades and digital support.

Through its Airbus Helicopters division, the company produces civil, governmental and military helicopters for applications such as emergency medical services, law enforcement, offshore transportation and defense. Airbus Defence and Space supplies military aircraft, unmanned systems, secure communications, satellites, launch vehicles and other space-related technologies to governments and institutional customers.

Airbus traces its origins to Airbus Industrie, a European aircraft consortium established in 1970. The business became part of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company, or EADS, in 2000 and adopted the Airbus name as part of a broader corporate reorganization during the 2010s. Headquartered in Europe, Airbus serves airlines, governments and commercial customers worldwide, with industrial, engineering and service operations across Europe and in numerous other global markets. Guillaume Faury has served as the company’s chief executive officer since 2019.
