Kidman Resources Limited was an Australian mineral exploration and development company focused primarily on lithium and gold projects. Its principal asset was the Mt Holland Lithium Project in Western Australia, which includes the Earl Grey lithium deposit in the Goldfields region.

Kidman advanced the Mt Holland project through a joint venture with Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile (SQM). The proposed development included an integrated operation incorporating spodumene mining and a lithium hydroxide processing facility, with the aim of supplying materials for the battery and electric-vehicle industries.

Wesfarmers acquired Kidman Resources in 2020, after which Kidman ceased operating as an independent publicly listed company and was removed from the Australian Securities Exchange. The Mt Holland project subsequently continued under the Covalent Lithium joint venture between Wesfarmers and SQM. Kidman’s securities may still be referenced under the OTC Markets symbol KDDRF, although the company’s former public-market status and operating structure have changed.
