Metso also provides automation, process control, spare parts, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and other lifecycle services.

Metso traces its roots to Finnish engineering businesses that were combined through the 1999 merger of Valmet and Rauma. The company’s mining and aggregates operations were separated from other former Metso businesses in subsequent corporate reorganizations, and its current structure was established following the combination of Metso’s minerals businesses with Outotec in 2020. Headquartered in Helsinki, Metso serves customers through operations, sales, service centers, and distribution networks across major mining, construction, and industrial markets worldwide.
