QinetiQ was created from the United Kingdom’s Defence Evaluation and Research Agency and became an independent public company in 2001, later listing on the London Stock Exchange. It serves customers primarily in the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia, as well as other allied markets. The group is led by Chief Executive Officer Steve Wadey.
