Qantas Airways Limited is the principal airline of the Qantas Group and Australia’s flag carrier. The company provides scheduled passenger air transportation on domestic and international routes, serving major Australian cities and destinations across New Zealand, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Africa and the Pacific. Its operations include the Qantas full-service brand and Jetstar, the group’s low-cost airline network.

The group also operates airport lounges and sells ancillary products and services associated with air travel.

Qantas was established in 1920 in Winton, Queensland, as Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services Limited. It later became a major international airline and is headquartered in Mascot, New South Wales, near Sydney. Vanessa Hudson has served as the company’s chief executive officer since November 2023.
