Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited was an Australian gold mining company focused on the exploration, development and operation of gold assets in Western Australia. The company’s principal assets included the Carosue Dam and Thunderbox gold operations, along with associated exploration and development projects. Saracen produced gold from open-pit and underground mines and operated processing facilities supporting its Western Australian production base.

Saracen entered into a merger with Northern Star Resources Limited in 2020, with the transaction completed in February 2021. Saracen’s operations subsequently became part of Northern Star’s portfolio, and Saracen no longer operates as an independent listed company. Before the merger, Raleigh Finlayson served as Saracen’s managing director and chief executive officer.
