Valmet serves customers internationally through operations and service networks in Europe, North and South America, Asia-Pacific and other global markets. The company traces its roots to Finland’s industrial engineering history and was established in its current form in 2013, following the combination of Valmet’s predecessor businesses with the pulp, paper and power operations of Metso. Valmet is headquartered in Espoo, Finland, and has been led by President and Chief Executive Officer Thomas Hinnerskov since February 2024.
