Yi is a Senior Equity Research Analyst, Vice President covering Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, & Enterprise Software/Technology Sector, with Cantor Fitzgerald, a global financial services firm founded in 1945 as a securities brokerage and investment bank. Prior to Canaan Partners, Yi was a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) M&A Transaction Services practice where he served as an M&A advisor to private equity funds and multinational corporations. Yi assisted clients in identifying key deal issues impacting proposed mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and buyouts. Yi started his career as an external auditor at PwC serving the Alternative Investments and Banking & Capital Markets sector. Yi holds the following designations: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). Additionally, he holds the FINRA Series 7, 63, 86 and 87 licenses. Yi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting Major with honors and Finance Concentration from Binghamton University.
