Hoya’s Information Technology segment produces specialized optical and electronic materials, including photomasks and mask blanks used in semiconductor manufacturing, as well as products for displays and other advanced applications. The company was established in Japan in 1941 as Toyo Optical Glass Manufacturing and adopted the Hoya name in 1961.
