About Hoya

Hoya (OTCMKTS:HOCPY) Corporation is a Japan-based global technology and healthcare company that develops and manufactures optical products. Its businesses serve the vision-care, medical, semiconductor and information-technology markets, with operations and customers in regions around the world.

Through its Life Care segment, Hoya provides prescription eyeglass lenses, contact lenses and related products, as well as medical equipment such as endoscopes and intraocular lenses used in ophthalmic procedures. The company also supplies optical products and services for healthcare professionals and patients.

Hoya’s Information Technology segment produces specialized optical and electronic materials, including photomasks and mask blanks used in semiconductor manufacturing, as well as products for displays and other advanced applications. The company was established in Japan in 1941 as Toyo Optical Glass Manufacturing and adopted the Hoya name in 1961.
