About Biohaven

Biohaven (NYSE:BHVN) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing therapies for neurological and immunological disorders. The company’s research programs use a range of approaches, including small-molecule medicines, biologics and other targeted therapies, with the goal of addressing diseases that have limited or inadequate treatment options.

Biohaven’s pipeline has included investigational treatments for conditions such as epilepsy, obsessive-compulsive disorder, neurodegenerative diseases, neuroinflammatory disorders and immune-mediated diseases. Its programs have included novel potassium-channel modulators, glutamate pathway therapies, brain-penetrant immune-targeting medicines and other therapies designed to act on neurological or immunological mechanisms.

The company traces its origins to Biohaven Pharmaceutical, which was founded in 2013. In 2022, Pfizer acquired Biohaven’s commercial and late-stage calcitonin gene-related peptide portfolio, including the migraine products Nurtec ODT and Zavzpret, while the remaining research and development operations continued as the current Biohaven Ltd. Biohaven is headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut, and its programs are advanced through clinical development and regulatory processes in the United States and other international markets. Vlad Coric serves as the company’s chairman and chief executive officer.
