About CureVac

CureVac (NASDAQ:CVAC) is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing medicines and vaccines based on messenger RNA (mRNA) technology. The company’s research programs have addressed infectious diseases, oncology, and other conditions in which mRNA may be used to instruct cells to produce therapeutic proteins or stimulate an immune response.

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Tübingen, Germany, CureVac has developed proprietary mRNA design, manufacturing, and delivery technologies. Its pipeline has included vaccine candidates for infectious diseases, including COVID-19 and seasonal influenza, as well as cancer immunotherapies and protein-replacement treatments. The company has historically pursued development and commercialization through collaborations with pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners, including GSK.

CureVac has conducted research and clinical development activities in Europe and the United States. Alexander Zehnder has served as the company’s chief executive officer. CureVac’s programs remain subject to clinical, regulatory, and commercial development, and the company has not established a broad portfolio of marketed products.
