Dorel Industries (OTCMKTS:DIIBF) was a Canadian consumer-products company headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. The company developed, manufactured and marketed products through three principal business areas: juvenile products, home furnishings and recreational products.
Dorel’s juvenile products business offered car seats, strollers, play yards, high chairs and other child-care products under brands including Cosco, Safety 1st, Maxi-Cosi, Quinny and Bébé Confort. Its home-furnishings operations produced and distributed ready-to-assemble and casual furniture, including desks, chairs, tables, beds and storage products for residential and office use.
Historically, Dorel also operated a major bicycle and cycling-products division, with brands such as Cannondale, Schwinn, GT, Mongoose, Sugoi and Fabric. The company sold products through retailers, distributors and e-commerce channels across North America, Europe and other international markets. Dorel Industries was acquired by affiliates of Cerberus Capital Management in 2021 and subsequently became a privately held company; its former sports division was later acquired by Pon.Bike.
