About Kiora Pharmaceuticals

Kiora Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:KPRX) is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing therapies for serious ophthalmic diseases. The company’s research programs are designed to address conditions affecting the retina and other parts of the eye, including diseases for which treatment options remain limited.

Kiora’s lead candidate, KIO-301, is an investigational small-molecule therapy being developed to restore or improve visual function in patients with inherited retinal diseases, including retinitis pigmentosa. The company is also developing KIO-104, an investigational therapy intended to treat noninfectious uveitis, an inflammatory eye condition.

Based in the United States, Kiora conducts its drug-discovery and clinical-development activities primarily through collaborations and clinical studies. The company was formed through the combination of EyeGate Pharmaceuticals and Jade Therapeutics and adopted the Kiora Pharmaceuticals name in 2020. Kiora’s programs remain in development, and the company does not have widely marketed commercial products.
