If you keep cash in a U.S. bank account… read this NOW
Since 2020, U.S. banks have been required to keep zero percent of deposits on hand, lending out nearly every dollar while paying savers just 0.04 percent interest. A new law, the GENIUS Act signed last summer, has cleared the way for a different kind of money to emerge this fall, one that could offer savings rates up to 6 percent. About North European Oil Royality Trust

North European Oil Royalty Trust is a grantor trust that owns royalty interests in certain mineral properties in Germany. Despite its name, the trust is not primarily an oil and gas producer; its royalty income is associated with mineral extraction and processing activities conducted under German lease agreements.

The trust receives royalties based on the production and sale of products including potash, magnesium compounds and certain salt products. These operations are conducted by lessees and their operating affiliates, rather than directly by the trust. As a royalty trust, North European Oil Royalty Trust generally does not operate mines, manufacture products or market minerals itself.

The trust’s assets and revenue-generating interests are concentrated in Germany. Its principal responsibilities involve holding the royalty interests, receiving payments under the applicable leases and distributing available income to unitholders in accordance with the trust agreement. The trust is managed through trustees and has no broad operating workforce or diversified business platform.
