Ferguson (NYSE:FERG) (NYSE: FERG) is a value-added distributor of plumbing and heating products, water and wastewater solutions, fire protection equipment, HVAC supplies, and related products. The company primarily serves professional contractors and other trade customers, helping them source products, obtain technical support, and manage projects through its distribution network and digital platforms.

Ferguson operates mainly in North America, with businesses serving residential and commercial construction, infrastructure, facilities maintenance, and industrial markets in the United States and Canada. Its offerings include pipes, valves and fittings; plumbing and heating equipment; waterworks products; fire protection systems; HVAC components; and industrial and safety supplies.

The company traces its roots to Wolseley, a United Kingdom-based distribution group founded in the 19th century. Ferguson became the group’s primary North American business following the separation of its UK operations, which continued under the Wolseley name. Ferguson plc is led by Chief Executive Officer Kevin Murphy and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol FERG.
