About Airbus

Airbus (OTCMKTS:EADSY) SE is a multinational aerospace and defense company that designs, manufactures and supports a broad range of products and services for civil and military customers worldwide. The company’s activities span commercial aircraft, helicopters, defense and space systems, and a growing portfolio of services that include maintenance, training, digital solutions and aftermarket support. Airbus is organized into major business divisions that reflect these activities and operates an extensive industrial and supplier footprint across multiple countries.

In the commercial aircraft segment Airbus is best known for its A320 family of single-aisle jets and larger widebody models such as the A330 and A350 series, as well as the A380 superjumbo. The company’s helicopter unit produces civil and parapublic rotorcraft through its Airbus Helicopters division. Airbus Defence and Space develops military transport aircraft, satellite systems, launchers and space infrastructure, alongside related services for governments, commercial operators and scientific customers.

Airbus has a global manufacturing and customer-support presence with final assembly and production sites in Europe and additional facilities in regions such as North America and Asia. Its products are sold to airlines, leasing companies, armed forces and space agencies around the world. The company has invested heavily in fuel-efficient aircraft technologies, digital services and sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of aviation and supporting airline customers’ operational needs.

Formed in 2000 through the consolidation of several European aerospace businesses (initially as the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company), the group later adopted the Airbus name for its operations and reorganized under the holding structure Airbus SE. The company is led by a chief executive officer and an international board of directors; Guillaume Faury has served as CEO in recent years. Airbus is publicly traded on European exchanges and maintains an American depositary receipt program for U.S. investors.
