About Mesa Air Group

Mesa Air Group (NASDAQ:RJET) is a regional airline holding company whose principal subsidiary is Mesa Airlines, Inc. Mesa Airlines provides scheduled passenger air service primarily under capacity-purchase agreements with major U.S. airlines. Its operations have historically been conducted under the American Eagle and United Express brands, connecting smaller and mid-sized communities with larger airline hubs.

The company operates regional aircraft and focuses on short- and medium-haul flights within the United States. Mesa Airlines has served destinations across the mainland United States and, at various times, has operated service in Hawaii and other specialized regional markets. Its business model relies on agreements under which major carriers handle much of the marketing, ticketing and network planning while Mesa provides aircraft, flight crews and operational services.

Mesa Air Group was founded in the early 1980s and is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Jonathan Ornstein has been a long-standing member of the company’s leadership and has served as chairman and chief executive officer. Mesa Air Group has historically traded on Nasdaq under the symbol MESA; the symbol RJET has been associated with Republic Airways Holdings rather than Mesa Air Group.
