About InflaRx

InflaRx (NASDAQ:IFRX) (NASDAQ: IFRX) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing therapies for inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The company’s research centers on the complement system, an important part of the immune response, with particular emphasis on blocking the activity of complement component C5a, which can contribute to excessive inflammation and tissue damage.

InflaRx’s lead product candidate is vilobelimab, a monoclonal antibody designed to selectively inhibit C5a while preserving other aspects of the complement system. Vilobelimab received U.S. Food and Drug Administration emergency use authorization under the name Gohibic for certain critically ill adults hospitalized with COVID-19. The company has also evaluated vilobelimab in other serious inflammatory conditions, including hidradenitis suppurativa, ANCA-associated vasculitis and pyoderma gangrenosum.

InflaRx was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Jena, Germany, with operations serving the global biopharmaceutical market. The company continues to advance complement-targeted treatments through clinical development and research programs, including potential next-generation therapies intended to address inflammatory diseases with significant unmet medical needs. InflaRx is led by Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Niels Riedemann, M.D.
