About VOC Energy Trust

VOC Energy Trust (NYSE:VOC) (NYSE:VOC) is a grantor trust that owns net profits interests in oil and natural gas properties located primarily in Kansas and Texas. The trust does not operate the properties directly; instead, it receives a share of the proceeds generated from the production and sale of oil and natural gas after specified operating and capital expenses.

The trust was established in 2010 in connection with a public offering of trust units. Its underlying assets consist of producing and developed oil and gas properties, with oil representing an important component of production. Revenue is derived from the sale of hydrocarbons produced by the properties and is generally distributed to unitholders after expenses and other required payments.

VOC Energy Trust is managed through its trustee and relies on third-party operators and property owners for exploration, development, production, and other operational activities. Its performance is therefore influenced by production levels, operating costs, commodity prices, and the remaining economic life of the underlying properties.
