First Look: Elon’s “Starphone”
Rumors are swirling that Elon Musk is developing a new mobile device that could rival the iPhone. It's said to be thinner, longer-lasting on battery, and cheaper to produce, with the ability to work worldwide without relying on cell towers. Former Bloomberg reporter and SAC Capital trader Josh Baylin says the evidence is mounting. He notes the FCC recently gave Musk a green light connected to his mobile plans, adding fuel to speculation. Baylin previously called the smartphone boom in 2004 and predicted Apple would sell a billion phones when others expected a fraction of that.tc pixel

About Toro

Toro (NASDAQ:TORO) was a maritime transportation company focused on the ownership and operation of ocean-going vessels. Its fleet was primarily composed of tanker vessels used to transport crude oil, refined petroleum products and other liquid cargoes in international shipping markets.

The company was incorporated in the Marshall Islands and operated from Cyprus, serving customers and charterers across global seaborne trade routes. Its business was exposed to tanker-market conditions, vessel utilization, charter rates and international demand for energy and other marine transportation services.

Toro was led by Chief Executive Officer Petros Panagiotidis, who is also associated with Castor Maritime. In 2024, Castor Maritime completed an all-stock merger with Toro Corp., after which Toro ceased operating as a separate publicly traded company.
