About Bank OZK

Bank OZK (NASDAQ:OZKAP), formerly Bank of the Ozarks until its rebranding in 2018, is a regional commercial bank headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas. Established in 1903, the bank has expanded through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions to serve clients across the Southeast, Southwest and select Northern markets. Its operations include a network of branches and loan production offices in states such as Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New York, Texas and California.

The bank’s core business centers on specialty lending, with a particular focus on commercial real estate financing. Its loan portfolio encompasses construction and development loans, permanent commercial mortgages, commercial and industrial loans and Small Business Administration (SBA) financing. Complementing these offerings, Bank OZK provides asset-based and equipment financing as well as municipal and public finance solutions for state and local government projects.

Beyond lending, Bank OZK offers a broad range of deposit and treasury management services. These include business checking and savings accounts, money market products, cash management solutions, merchant services and secure digital banking platforms. The bank emphasizes personalized relationship banking, tailoring its products to the needs of middle-market businesses, real estate developers and individual depositors.

Under the leadership of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer George Gleason, who has guided the institution for more than two decades, Bank OZK has maintained a disciplined risk-management approach. Its governance framework and credit policies reflect a commitment to consistent performance, conservative underwriting and long-term shareholder value. The bank’s steady expansion into key regional markets underscores its strategy of building strong local partnerships and supporting community growth.
