McGrath RentCorp (NASDAQ:MGRC) was a business-to-business rental company that provided modular buildings, portable storage, electronic test and measurement equipment, and liquid and solid containment solutions. Its services supported customers in industries including construction, education, government, commercial operations, telecommunications and environmental management.

The company operated through several specialized businesses. Mobile Modular supplied relocatable classrooms, office buildings and other modular structures, while Mobile Modular Portable Storage offered portable storage units. TRS-RenTelco rented electronic test equipment, and Adler Tank Rentals provided tanks and related equipment for temporary storage and management of liquids and solids. Kitchens To Go supplied mobile and modular kitchen facilities.

Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Livermore, California, McGrath RentCorp served customers across the United States and, through certain operations, Canada. The company was led by President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph Hanna before its acquisition. In July 2024, WillScot Mobile Mini Holdings completed its acquisition of McGrath RentCorp, integrating its rental businesses into the combined company; McGrath RentCorp is therefore no longer an independent publicly traded company under the NASDAQ ticker MGRC.
