Cheniere Energy Partners (NYSE:CQP) (NYSE:CQP) is a publicly traded master limited partnership focused on the development, ownership and operation of liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure. The partnership is sponsored by Cheniere Energy, Inc., a leading U.S. LNG company, through its ownership of Cheniere Energy Partners GP, LLC.

CQP’s principal assets include the Sabine Pass LNG facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, and interests associated with the Corpus Christi LNG facility in Texas. These facilities process natural gas into LNG for export, with supporting infrastructure that includes liquefaction facilities, storage tanks, marine loading docks and associated pipeline connections. The partnership’s operations are designed to receive natural gas, liquefy it and load the LNG onto carriers for delivery to customers.

Cheniere Energy Partners serves international energy markets by exporting U.S.-produced LNG to customers in regions including Asia, Europe and Latin America. The partnership was formed in 2006 and has evolved from an operator of LNG import infrastructure into a major U.S. LNG export platform. Its general partner is managed by Cheniere Energy, whose leadership has included President and Chief Executive Officer Jack A. Fusco.
