First Look: Elon’s “Starphone”
Rumors are swirling that Elon Musk is developing a new mobile device that could rival the iPhone. It's said to be thinner, longer-lasting on battery, and cheaper to produce, with the ability to work worldwide without relying on cell towers. Former Bloomberg reporter and SAC Capital trader Josh Baylin says the evidence is mounting. He notes the FCC recently gave Musk a green light connected to his mobile plans, adding fuel to speculation. Baylin previously called the smartphone boom in 2004 and predicted Apple would sell a billion phones when others expected a fraction of that.tc pixel

About Murphy USA

Murphy USA (NYSE:MUSA) operates a nationwide network of retail gasoline stations and convenience stores in the United States. Its stores sell branded and unbranded motor fuel, tobacco products, nicotine products, beverages, snacks, packaged food, and other convenience items. Some locations also offer additional services such as lottery products and car washes.

The company operates stores under the Murphy USA and Murphy Express brands, primarily in proximity to Walmart stores and along major roads. Murphy USA also expanded its convenience-store presence through the acquisition of QuickChek in 2021, adding locations concentrated in the Northeast. Its store network serves customers across numerous states, with a substantial presence in the southern and central United States.

Murphy USA was separated from Murphy Oil Corporation in 2013 and became an independent publicly traded company. The business focuses on high-volume fuel sales supported by convenience retail operations, including private-label merchandise and foodservice offerings at select locations.
