Its offerings include fresh flowers, plants, gift baskets, gourmet foods, confections, baked goods, fruit, popcorn and personalized gifts for holidays, celebrations and other occasions.

The company’s brand portfolio includes 1-800-Flowers, Harry & David, Cheryl’s Cookies, The Popcorn Factory, Wolferman’s, FruitBouquets and Personal Creations. It also operates 1-800-Baskets and BloomNet, a floral services business that supports florists with products, technology and other services. The company serves consumers throughout the United States and has developed capabilities to facilitate gift delivery to select international destinations.

The business traces its roots to 1976, when Jim McCann acquired a New York City flower shop. The 1-800-Flowers telephone brand was introduced in the 1980s, and the company later expanded through acquisitions into gourmet foods, specialty gifts and other gifting categories. 1-800 FLOWERS.COM became a publicly traded company in 1999. Jim McCann is the company’s founder and chairman, while Christopher G. McCann serves as chief executive officer.
