About Travere Therapeutics

Travere Therapeutics (NASDAQ:TVTX) is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing treatments for rare kidney and immune-mediated diseases. The company’s work centers on conditions with limited treatment options, including IgA nephropathy (IgAN) and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS).

Travere’s lead commercial product is FILSPARI (sparsentan), an oral treatment approved in the United States for certain adults with primary IgAN who are at risk of disease progression. The company is also evaluating sparsentan and other potential therapies in additional kidney-disease indications, including FSGS, through clinical development programs.

Originally founded as Retrophin, the company adopted the name Travere Therapeutics in 2020. Based in San Diego, California, Travere serves patients and healthcare professionals primarily through its U.S. commercial operations while pursuing clinical development and regulatory opportunities in international markets. Neil McFarlane serves as the company’s chief executive officer.
