About NeuroPace

NeuroPace (NASDAQ:NPCE) is a medical device company focused on developing and commercializing therapies for people with drug-resistant epilepsy. The company’s principal product is the RNS System, an implantable responsive neurostimulation device designed to monitor brain activity, identify abnormal electrical patterns associated with seizures, and deliver targeted stimulation intended to help prevent or reduce seizures.

The RNS System includes an implanted neurostimulator, leads placed in or on the brain, and external tools that support device programming, patient monitoring, and the collection of seizure-related data. NeuroPace also provides software and clinical support services intended to help physicians evaluate recorded brain activity and manage therapy over time.

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Mountain View, California, NeuroPace received U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval for the RNS System in 2013. The company primarily serves the U.S. market through relationships with neurologists, epilepsy centers, and other healthcare providers. Its technology is intended for patients whose focal-onset seizures have not been adequately controlled with antiseizure medications.
