About Dorchester Minerals

Dorchester Minerals (NASDAQ:DMLP) (NASDAQ:DMLP) is a publicly traded energy partnership that owns and manages mineral, royalty, overriding royalty, and net profits interests in oil and natural gas properties. Rather than operating wells directly, the company generally receives payments from exploration and production companies that develop and produce hydrocarbons from its properties.

The partnership’s assets are located across several major U.S. oil and gas regions, including the Permian Basin, the Haynesville and other Gulf Coast areas, the Anadarko Basin, and the Rocky Mountain region. Its interests may provide exposure to oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids production while allowing operators to fund drilling and development activities.

Dorchester Minerals traces its history to the early 1980s and became a publicly traded master limited partnership in 2003. The company is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, and focuses on managing its existing mineral and royalty portfolio, acquiring additional interests when appropriate, and returning cash generated from its assets to unitholders through partnership distributions.
