About ECA Marcellus Trust I

ECA Marcellus Trust I (OTCMKTS:ECTM) (OTCMKTS:ECTM) is a statutory royalty trust focused on owning interests in oil and natural gas properties. The trust does not function as a conventional exploration and production company; instead, it receives proceeds generated by the underlying properties and passes available cash distributions to its unitholders.

The trust’s interests are associated with wells targeting the Marcellus Shale natural gas formation in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Its assets consist primarily of royalty interests in producing and development wells, with revenue influenced by natural gas production volumes, commodity prices, operating costs and the performance of the underlying wells.

ECA Marcellus Trust I was established in 2010 in connection with the development and ownership of Marcellus Shale properties. As a trust, its activities are limited compared with those of an operating energy company, and day-to-day exploration, drilling and production activities are conducted by the operators of the underlying properties. Publicly available information about the trust’s current leadership is limited.
