About Permianville Royalty Trust

Permianville Royalty Trust (NYSE:PVL) is a passive investment vehicle that holds overriding royalty interests in oil and gas properties located primarily in the Permian Basin of West Texas and southeastern New Mexico. Organized as a statutory royalty trust, it provides investors with exposure to production revenues from established hydrocarbon reservoirs without engaging directly in exploration or development activities.

The trust’s assets consist of net profits interests in wells that produce crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids. Revenues are derived from the sale of hydrocarbons produced from these properties, and net proceeds—after the deduction of operating expenses, taxes and administrative costs—are distributed to unitholders on a regular basis. Permianville Royalty Trust does not hold title to the underlying leases, but rather benefits from a contractual right to a portion of the production income.

All administrative functions, including revenue accounting, tax reporting and distribution processing, are handled by a designated trustee and administrative agent. With its focus solely on royalty interests in one of North America’s most prolific oil and gas regions, the trust offers investors a means to participate in ongoing production cash flows without the operational risks associated with drilling and field development.
