About Osram Licht

Osram Licht (OTCMKTS:OSAGF) was a German lighting technology company headquartered in Munich. The company developed and manufactured lighting products and systems for consumer, automotive, and professional applications, including lamps, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), optical components, and lighting solutions.

Its products served areas such as general illumination, automotive lighting, specialty lighting, digital systems, and horticultural applications. Osram supplied products to customers in global markets, including Europe, North America, and Asia, through a combination of manufacturing, sales, and distribution operations.

Osram Licht was formed as an independent company following its separation from Siemens in 2013. In 2020, it was acquired by ams AG, an Austrian sensor and semiconductor company, and subsequently became part of the combined ams OSRAM group. Osram Licht is therefore no longer an independent operating company in its former structure.
