About Darling Ingredients

Darling Ingredients (NYSE:DAR) (NYSE: DAR) is a global leader in converting edible and inedible bio-nutrient streams into sustainable food, feed ingredients, renewable fuels and specialty products. Founded in 1882 and headquartered in Irving, Texas, the company builds on more than a century of experience in animal rendering and by-product recycling. Over time, Darling has expanded its capabilities beyond traditional rendering to include advanced processing technologies that support a circular economy and reduce waste from food and agricultural industries.

The company’s core operations revolve around four primary segments: Feed Ingredients & Services, Food & Nutrition, Fuel Ingredients & Services, and Specialty Ingredients. In the Feed Ingredients segment, Darling processes animal by-products into protein meals and fats for livestock, aquaculture and pet food. Its Food & Nutrition arm refines edible tallow, gelatins and hydrolyzed proteins for human food, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical applications. Through its Fuel Ingredients division—most notably the Diamond Green Diesel joint venture with Valero Energy—Darling converts fats into renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel. The Specialty Ingredients business focuses on cholesterol, lecithin and collagen solutions for personal care and industrial uses.

Darling operates a global network of more than 280 processing facilities serving customers across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia. The company sources its raw materials from slaughterhouses, food processors and seafood operations, enabling integrated supply chains that feed into regional markets. This worldwide footprint supports partnerships with food manufacturers, agricultural producers and energy companies seeking traceable, renewable inputs.

Under the leadership of President and Chief Executive Officer Randall C. Stuewe, Darling Ingredients continues to drive growth through strategic acquisitions and investments in bio-refining technologies. The company is committed to sustainability and carbon reduction, targeting lower greenhouse-gas emissions across its operations and expanding renewable fuel capacity to meet evolving global energy demands.
