About SES

SES (OTCMKTS:SGBAF) (OTCMKTS:SGBAF) is a leading global satellite operator headquartered in Betzdorf, Luxembourg. The company provides end-to-end satellite communications services, leveraging a fleet of geostationary satellites under the ASTRA and SES brands, as well as medium-earth orbit satellites through its O3b network. SES serves a diverse range of customers in the broadcast, telecom, maritime, aviation and government sectors, delivering managed video distribution and high-throughput data connectivity solutions worldwide.

The company’s video business enables broadcasters and content distributors to reach television audiences across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Africa. SES Video supports direct-to-home broadcasting, contribution and distribution of live events, and playout services, while its network services division offers scalable connectivity for enterprise and telecom operators. Through the O3b mPOWER constellation, SES Networks provides low-latency, high-capacity data links tailored for mobile backhaul, oil and gas operations, cruise vessels and remote communities.

Founded in 1985 as Société Européenne des Satellites, SES launched its first ASTRA satellite in 1988 and pioneered direct-to-home digital television in Europe. Since then, the company has expanded its fleet and service offerings, launching successive generations of high-performance satellites and introducing the O3b medium-earth orbit system in 2013. These platforms have enabled SES to deliver increasingly flexible and resilient services to a global customer base.

Under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Steve Collar, SES continues to develop next-generation satellite capabilities and enhance its ground infrastructure to support emerging applications such as 5G backhaul, cloud computing integration and aeronautical connectivity. With a presence on six continents, SES plays a critical role in connecting remote regions, supporting live media distribution and enabling mission-critical communications for governments and enterprises.
