About LogicBio Therapeutics

LogicBio Therapeutics (OTCMKTS:LOGC) was a clinical-stage genetic medicine company focused on developing treatments for rare and serious genetic diseases. The company’s research centered on technologies designed to modify or deliver genetic material directly inside the body.

LogicBio’s principal technology platforms included GeneRide, an in vivo gene-insertion approach intended to enable long-term expression of therapeutic genes, and GeneWare, a genome-editing platform. Its lead investigational program, LB-001, was developed as a potential treatment for methylmalonic acidemia, a rare inherited metabolic disorder.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, LogicBio operated primarily as a biotechnology research and development company serving the rare-disease and genetic-medicine markets. Alexion, AstraZeneca’s rare-disease division, acquired LogicBio in 2022, after which LogicBio ceased operating as an independent publicly traded company.
