About Sol-Gel Technologies

Sol-Gel Technologies (NASDAQ:SLGL) is an Israeli specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing topical dermatological treatments. The company uses proprietary microencapsulation technology designed to improve the delivery, stability, and tolerability of active pharmaceutical ingredients applied to the skin.

Sol-Gel’s products include TWYNEO Cream, a topical combination of tretinoin and benzoyl peroxide for acne, and EPSOLAY Cream, a microencapsulated benzoyl peroxide treatment for inflammatory lesions associated with rosacea. Both products have received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and are commercialized in the United States through a licensing arrangement with Galderma.

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Ness Ziona, Israel, Sol-Gel Technologies serves the dermatology market primarily through partnerships supporting the development and commercialization of its prescription products. The company also continues to develop additional topical treatments using its proprietary drug-delivery platform.
