About BYD

BYD (OTCMKTS:BYDDY) Company Limited is a China-based technology and manufacturing company headquartered in Shenzhen. Founded in 1995, the company initially specialized in rechargeable batteries before expanding into automobiles and other technology-related industries. BYD is led by founder Wang Chuanfu, who serves as chairman and president.

Through its automotive business, BYD develops and manufactures new energy vehicles, including battery-electric cars, plug-in hybrid vehicles, buses and commercial trucks. Its passenger-vehicle brands include BYD, Denza, Fang Cheng Bao and Yangwang.
