About Osram Licht

Osram Licht (OTCMKTS:OSAGF) was a German lighting technology company that developed and manufactured products for automotive, consumer, industrial and specialty applications. Its product portfolio included light-emitting diodes (LEDs), traditional lamps, automotive lighting systems, optical components and lighting-related electronics.

The company served customers worldwide through operations and sales activities across Europe, the Americas, Asia and other international markets. Osram’s technologies were used in vehicle headlights and signaling, general illumination, displays, entertainment lighting, horticulture and a range of industrial and medical applications.

Osram Licht became an independent publicly traded company in 2013 after separating from Siemens. In 2020, it was acquired by ams AG, an Austrian semiconductor and sensor manufacturer. The combined business operates under the ams OSRAM name, focusing on optical solutions, illumination, LED technologies and sensor products.
