About Oceanagold

Oceanagold (NYSE:OGC) Corporation is a mid-tier gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. The company explores for, develops and operates gold and copper-gold properties, with operations spanning North America, the Asia-Pacific region and Oceania. Its products primarily include gold, with silver and copper produced as byproducts at certain operations.

OceanaGold’s operating portfolio includes the Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina, the Didipio gold-copper mine in the Philippines, and the Macraes and Waihi operations in New Zealand. Haile is an open-pit operation, while Didipio is a high-grade underground and open-pit mine. Macraes, located on New Zealand’s South Island, is the country’s largest operating gold mine, and Waihi operates in the North Island’s historically productive gold-mining region.

The company was established in the early 2000s through the consolidation of gold-mining assets in the Asia-Pacific region. OceanaGold later expanded its portfolio through the acquisition of the Haile Gold Mine and strengthened its position in the Philippines following the renewal of the Didipio mine’s operating agreement. OceanaGold is led by President and Chief Executive Officer Gerard Bond and is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol OGC.
