Vilobelimab received U.S. Food and Drug Administration emergency use authorization under the name Gohibic for certain critically ill adults hospitalized with COVID-19. The company has also evaluated vilobelimab in other serious inflammatory conditions, including hidradenitis suppurativa, ANCA-associated vasculitis and pyoderma gangrenosum.

InflaRx was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Jena, Germany, with operations serving the global biopharmaceutical market. The company continues to advance complement-targeted treatments through clinical development and research programs, including potential next-generation therapies intended to address inflammatory diseases with significant unmet medical needs. InflaRx is led by Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Niels Riedemann, M.D.
