About VinFast Auto

VinFast Auto (NASDAQ:VFS) is an electric vehicle manufacturer founded in Vietnam in 2017 as a member of Vingroup, one of Vietnam’s largest private conglomerates. The company develops and produces electric passenger vehicles, electric scooters, electric buses and related battery systems and charging solutions.

VinFast’s vehicle portfolio has included electric sport utility vehicles, sedans and small urban models, with offerings designed for both the Vietnamese market and international customers. The company also operates or supports charging infrastructure and provides vehicle-related services intended to complement its electric mobility products.

VinFast serves customers in Vietnam and has expanded internationally, including into the United States and Canada. It has also pursued operations and market development in other parts of Asia and Europe. Manufacturing and corporate operations are centered in Vietnam, including the company’s major production complex in Hai Phong.

VinFast was founded by Pham Nhat Vuong, who has played a leading role in the company’s development and has served as its chief executive officer. The company trades publicly in the United States under the symbol VFS.
